Starting a new plan... again!

For every different triathlete, there is a different path to the sport. A different motivation, a different attitude, and a different plan.

I thought that my experiences might interest people who are thinking of getting into Triathlon, or who are looking at trying longer events, or (hopefully) even those who are well-experienced, and just interested in other people's perspectives!

I plan to keep this blog as I build up my training towards my first half-ironman triathlon, scheduled for 5 November 2018.

I've recently purchased a power meter (November 2017) and a smart trainer (January 2018), and have a TrainerRoad subscription. I completed the Criterium Specialty program, but have just recently switched over to the 1/2 distance triathlon plan.

I'm juggling a number of commitments, from work (as a solicitor), to a road racing 'super series' with the Port Adelaide Cycling Club. I'll also be racing criteriums every Tuesday night, once the summer sun lengthens the days. So, this will be part-training blog, part-nutrition blog, and part-work/life balance blog.
